Plain English summary: Compliapoint is a professional accessibility services firm. We collect only the information needed to perform your audit and deliver your project. We do not sell data, use advertising cookies, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

1. Who We Are

Compliapoint is a web accessibility compliance service operated by June Company, a U.S.-based business. We provide professional services including WCAG audits, source-level website remediation, PDF remediation, video captioning, VPAT/ACR generation, compliance certificates, and ongoing accessibility monitoring.

Our website is compliapoint.com. Our primary contact is info@compliapoint.com.

We are not a software company and do not distribute plugins, widgets, or overlays. All work is performed as a professional service engagement.

2. Information We Collect

From website visitors: We collect minimal information from visitors to compliapoint.com. If you use our Site Accessibility Assessment form, we collect the information you provide: your name, company name, job title, email address, website URL, and details about your site such as platform, page count, and compliance concerns. This information is used solely to scope and deliver your service engagement.

From clients: Once you become a client, we collect information necessary to deliver your project — including access credentials for your website (if remediation work is performed), PDF files or documents submitted for remediation, and any other materials you provide us in connection with your engagement.

Automatically collected: Our website may collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, referring page, pages visited, timestamps) for security and operational purposes. We do not use third-party analytics tracking.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Review your site assessment and prepare a written proposal
  • Perform the accessibility audit, remediation, or other services you've engaged us for
  • Communicate with you about your project scope, timeline, and deliverables
  • Issue invoices and process payments
  • Deliver completed reports, certificates, and documentation
  • Respond to your questions and support requests

We do not use your information for marketing to third parties, behavioral advertising, or any purpose unrelated to your service engagement.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We may share information with service providers who assist us in delivering our services, strictly limited to what is necessary for that purpose:

  • Email service providers — for sending project communications and proposals.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or valid legal process. We will notify you when legally permitted to do so.

5. Client Website Data

When performing audit or remediation services, we may access your website's source code, CMS backend, document files, and other materials you provide. This access is limited to what is required to perform the agreed service. We do not retain copies of your source code, credentials, or proprietary files beyond the completion of your project.

Website credentials (CMS logins, FTP access, etc.) are used solely for the duration of the engagement and are not stored beyond project completion. We recommend resetting credentials after your project is delivered.

Completed deliverables (audit reports, compliance certificates, VPATs, remediated documents) are retained for a reasonable period to support follow-up questions and re-engagement, and are shared only with you and anyone you designate.

6. Payments & Invoicing

Payment is required in full before work begins. We accept credit card, ACH/bank transfer, and company check. We do not store payment card numbers on our systems. Payment processing is handled through our secure payment infrastructure.

7. Cookies

Compliapoint.com does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. We may use session cookies necessary for the basic operation of our assessment form. These cookies do not track you across other websites and are deleted when you close your browser.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. All email communications containing sensitive project information are conducted over encrypted channels. Access credentials you share with us are handled with strict access controls and are not shared beyond the team member assigned to your project.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your information has been compromised in connection with our services, contact us immediately at info@compliapoint.com.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@compliapoint.com. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

If you are located in a jurisdiction with applicable privacy rights (such as California under CCPA, or the EU/EEA under GDPR), you may have additional rights including the right to know what data we hold, the right to data portability, and the right to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise those rights.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify active clients by email.
